Teeth Whitening (Zoom!)

What is Zoom?

Zoom is a teeth whitening procedure that is done in-office and yields quick, effective results. Most patients who have this procedure done are able to achieve teeth that are four to eight shades whiter. Zoom is completely safe on teeth and gums and will give you a brighter smile without causing sensitivity issues. At the Center for Advanced Dentistry, we’re able to perform the Zoom procedure at your own convenience.

Why do you need Zoom?

There are several reasons why you might need Zoom teeth whitening and these include:

  • You have stained and discolored teeth
  • You want quick, effective results
  • You’ve tried at-home products with minimal results
  • You want a whiter and brighter smile

The Zoom procedure is done conveniently in our office at your own convenience, enabling you to experience the benefits of professional whitening without resorting to at-home products. We do our best to ensure your comfort so you can relax while we do the work to whiten your teeth. Patients who have Zoom done in our office can expect the procedure to be completed within an hour.

What makes you a good candidate for Zoom?

The vast majority of people who want to whiten their teeth with Zoom are able to do so. However, before being considered for the Zoom procedure, an examination and whitening consultation is required. It is important to note that Zoom will not whiten existing dental appliances and prosthetics like fillings, crowns and bridge work. However, Zoom is ideal for lightening discoloration and removing stains in under an hour.

What happens during the procedure for Zoom?

The Zoom procedure is done quickly and easily in our office here at the Center for Advanced Dentistry. Once you are seated, we will apply cotton pads and rolls to protect your gums and lips and keep your teeth dry. Next, a whitening gel will be placed on your teeth and we will apply a whitening light to accelerate your results. Additional whitening gel is applied every 15 minutes for a total of 45 to 60 minutes. Once the procedure is complete and the cotton pads and gauzes are removed, we will give you aftercare instructions to take home. It is important to follow these aftercare instructions to maximize your results.
