The Simpli5 process involves wearing a series of clear, plastic-like aligners. Each tray is worn for about a two-week period and can be conveniently removed to eat, brush your teeth or for a special occasion. These trays exert a constant gentle pressure, helping your teeth to migrate into the proper position.

Simpli5 is the option that many adult patients choose for its discreetness and convenience. It's a wonderful option that has worked very effectively for a number of our patients, but it is not the best option in some more complicated cases. When Simpli5 has been chosen as the best treatment option, we will have you come into the office where we will take impressions of your teeth. These impressions are digitally scanned by a CAD system and a computer will give a virtual presentation of finished smile. The Simpli5 technologists then design aligner trays that incrementally move your teeth into the desired position. The number of trays depends upon the severity of the case, but in most cases treatment will be finished in a year.
