How Often Should I Replace My Toothbrush?

The American Dental Association recommends that toothbrush’s be replaced every three months. The bristles can become worn or frayed and lose their effectiveness. With winter now upon us our Indianapolis-Greenwood office has seen a steady onset of the cold and flu. Your toothbrush should also be replaced after an illness to prevent reoccurring infections.
